We will let Councillors know what you have told us, and find out their views, in order to agree what will go into the Local Transport Plan.

Talking to your Councillors

Based on what you and Councillors have told us, and all our other research, we'll write a draft Local Transport Plan.

Drafting the Local Transport Plan

Once we've got a draft Local Transport Plan, we'll come back and hold a public consultation so that you can comment and help make sure we have got it right.

Public consultation period

Based on your consultation feedback, we'll prepare any changes to the draft Local Transport Plan and present it to Councillors, who may ask us to make more changes before the document is finalised.

Finalising the Transport Strategy

Anyone who moves around, or in and out of, Central Bedfordshire is being asked to answer questions about how they travel, what they think and feel about it, and what they think the council’s priorities should be over the next 10-15 years.
